Anticipating Guest Needs and Proactive Service
Learn to read real signs of need, offer help with one short question, act within your authority and follow up without intruding.
Guest Experience
Learn to close every stay well: check the experience, assist with departure, thank, invite back and say farewell warmly, and handle last-minute concerns.
Guests may forget many details of their stay, but they remember how you made them feel as they left. This course, built from the Dyafa Hotels & Resorts training deck, shows hotel colleagues how to turn departure into a lasting positive impression.
You will learn the three stages of closing a stay, five simple farewell steps, short professional phrases, what to do and avoid at departure, how to handle a concern raised on the way out and when to call the supervisor before the guest leaves.
Dyafa Hotels & Resorts
No prior training is needed; the course suits any colleague who meets guests at check-out, in the lobby or at the entrance.
Make sure departure procedures are complete, ask if the guest needs help, thank them for choosing the hotel, use their name if known and appropriate, and say goodbye with eye contact, a smile and a clear phrase.
Ask for feedback respectfully, but do not ask for a high rating in front of others or pressure the guest to write a comment or mention your name.
Listen without interrupting, thank them and apologise for the experience, fix it quickly within your authority if possible, then record it and inform the person responsible. Call the supervisor for serious or unresolved issues.
Learn to read real signs of need, offer help with one short question, act within your authority and follow up without intruding.
Keep the Dyafa standard consistent while adapting how you deliver it, using five steps: Observe, Listen, Confirm, Adapt, Follow up.
Learn to notice guest needs, approach professionally and offer help before the guest has to ask, then follow through until the service is complete.
Most teams take this as part of a department programme that ends in one verifiable certificate.
