Training built around the shift, not around a syllabus
Hospitality Academy teaches the work a hotel actually does. Every course follows a procedure as it is carried out on shift: the sequence, the written standard, the mistakes that appear most often, and a checklist the learner works through in their own department. Courses run in Arabic and English, and the Arabic version is laid out right to left rather than mirrored from an English page.
What the academy covers
The catalogue is organised by hotel department, so a room attendant, a front desk agent, a commis chef and a maintenance technician each have a path that belongs to them. Front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, kitchen, sales and marketing, revenue and reservations, guest experience, quality and audit, security and safety, engineering and hotel management are all covered, along with the safety training every employee needs regardless of department.
Standard operating procedures as a first-class module
Procedures are not attachments in a shared drive. Each standard operating procedure is a versioned document with a purpose, scope, responsibilities, the procedure itself, a checklist, safety notes, a quality standard and an escalation route. When a procedure changes, the version is recorded and the people who need to read it are asked to acknowledge it again.
Certification a third party can check
A learner who completes a course and passes its assessment receives a certificate carrying a certificate number and a verification code. Anyone holding that code can check it on the public verification page and see whether it is valid, expired or revoked.
For hotels and groups
A hotel or group can assign training by property, department, job role or individual, set a due date, and see completion and outstanding items by department. Procedure acknowledgement is tracked the same way, so a manager can see who has read the current version and who has not.
