Mga madalas itanong

Is proactive service the same as doing things for the guest without asking?

No. You notice and offer, but you act only after the guest agrees. Initiative is service; intervening without permission is a disturbance.

What should I do if the guest says no?

Respect the choice, do not repeat the question, and stay available in case the guest needs you later.

What if the need is outside what I am allowed to do?

Do not promise it. Explain the need to your supervisor, suggest a possible option, get approval, tell the guest what will happen and follow up until it is complete.
